MIssion

The mission of Brigham Young University– Hawaii is to integrate both spiritual and secular learning, and to prepare students with character and integrity who can provide leadership in their families, their communities, their chosen field, and in building the kingdom of God. The university's strategic plan is based around the following mission-driven goals:

  1. Create a residential campus where the total student experience is inspired by learning, leading and building.
  2. Achieve annual graduation rates of at least 800 international students and 200 Hawaii students.
  3. Achieve a level of 80 percent of gainful employment among international students in their home region.

Envision Laie

Envision Lā’ie represents a diverse group of residents and stakeholders of Laie, Kahuku, Hauula, and Ko’olau Loa who are working together to study Lā’ie and plan for its future possibilities.
